Kiara Kwek

Kiara Kwek is currently pursuing their studies on Philosophy and Mathematics at University of Toronto. They have an intense love for research which they exercise both in their personal and academic life.

At the same time, Kiara has been working as a creator and an independent artist for over ten years. Kiara officially started offering their services beyond their local community in 2014 as a designer and illustrator for businesses, schools, and non-profit events in Indonesia. Three years later, Kiara expanded their services to take on commercial and personal clients around the world.

Some of Kiara's personal and commissioned works have been showcased in galleries, sold as merchandise, presented in conferences, became the face for local businesses, and digitally published!

Outside of their studies and work, Kiara practices amateur cryptography, curates a physical archive of works from fandom culture to fight back against lost media, and contributes to the digital fandom community as an artist.
